At Harmony Health Advisors, our customers are our most valued assets. Protecting your privacy is important to us. We restrict access to personal information about you to those individuals - such as our employees and agents - who provide you with our products and services.

We require those individuals to whom we permit access to your customer information to protect it and keep it confidential. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable regulatory standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you, as our customer or former customer, except as described in this notice.

We may disclose the nonpublic personal information we collect about you to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements and to other third parties, all as permitted by law.

Many employers, benefit plans or plan sponsors restrict the information that can be shared about their employees or members by companies that provide them with products or services. Harmony Health Advisors encompasses various affiliates that offer a variety of financial products and services in addition to insurance. Sharing information enables our affiliates to offer you a more complete range of products and services.

We may disclose nonpublic personal information to our affiliates, which include:

  • Financial service providers such as insurance companies and reciprocals, investment companies, underwriters and brokers/dealers.
  • Non-financial service providers, such as management companies, attorneys-in-fact and billing companies.

We are permitted by law to share with our affiliates our transaction and experience information with you. In addition, we may share with our affiliates consumer report information, such as information from credit reports and certain application information that we have received from you and from third parties, such as consumer reporting agencies and insurance support organizations.

Modifications to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change our privacy practices in the future, which may include sharing nonpublic personal information about you with non-affiliated third parties. Before we do that, we will provide you with a revised privacy notice and give you the opportunity to opt out of that type of information sharing.

We have agreements with third parties that allow you to go to their website from our site. If you go to these sites from our site, you may be asked to give non-public personal information for access to their services or products. Please be aware that harmonyhealthadvisors.com is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Our privacy statement applies solely to our website.

Security

Our policy is to restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you only to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you or to provide necessary technical support. Harmony Health Advisors uses up to 2048-bit encryption on portions of the site where you can enter personally identifiable information.

Logging

In addition to the information you provide us, we collect information about your activities while you are at our site, including IP addresses, browser and platform types, domain names, access times, referral data, and your activity while using or reviewing our site. We obtain the information by using cookies.

Cookies

A cookie is a message sent to your browser from a web server that is stored on your computer's hard drive. You may opt out of accepting cookies by changing the settings on your browser. However, rejecting cookies may prevent you from using certain functions. We may use cookies to track customer requests and traffic patterns. Harmony Health Advisors uses pixels, or transparent GIF files, to help manage online advertising. The information that we collect and share through these technologies is anonymous and not personally identifiable.

We do not currently support Do Not Track signals but may in the future. When you visit our website, other parties may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites. Right to Preserve and Disclose

Harmony Health Advisors may preserve for any period of time it deems appropriate all information you provide. Harmony Health Advisors may also disclose information you provide if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) complete your transaction; (b) comply with legal process; (c) enforce this Agreement; (d) respond to claims that any materials on this site violate the rights of third parties; (e) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Harmony Health Advisors, its users and/or the public; or (f) in the event that all or substantially all of Harmony Health Advisors assets are acquired by a third party.

Children and Minors

Harmony Health Advisors makes no active effort to collect personal information from children and does not wish to receive any such information.

SMS Texting

These SMS Texting Terms and Conditions are applicable to individuals who have subscribed and expressly consented to receive text messages from Harmony Health Advisors ("Harmony Health") or their affiliates, subsidiaries, employees or agents. These individuals have granted Harmony Health express permission to send automated text messages to the enrolled mobile phone number(s) through their wireless phone carrier unless and until such permission is revoked in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

The Harmony Health phone number(s) you may receive SMS messages from are:

  • (267) 656-6645 - for Customer Care, Medicare Reminders and Benefit Information
  • (484) 382-3719 - for Marketing Messages

Text messages will vary in frequency by texting program. As part of enrollment in a Harmony Health texting program, an individual may contact Harmony Health for assistance at smsinfo@harmonyhealthadvisors.com. Additionally, an individual may opt out of a Harmony Health texting program by replying "STOP" from their mobile phone. The individual will receive one final confirmation text message from Harmony Health stating that they will no longer receive text messages from that number. Text messages will be sent using an automatic dialing system to the mobile phone number provided to us.

Harmony Health offers these text message programs to provide information or resources on topics including, but not limited to the following:

  • Operational alerts/reminders such as billing/payment, digital tools and communication materials, health and wellness tips, medical coverage, and health insurance education.
  • Health-related information provided is not meant to replace professional medical advice.
  • Marketing texts such as new plan availability, additional coverage options, and complementary insurance products.

Operational information provided is valid only at the time the text message is sent and may change at a later time.

Individuals must immediately notify Harmony Health if their mobile phone number changes. Harmony Health is not liable for any communication or transmission of information via text which occurs as a result of a change to a mobile phone number that is not reported. Using password-protected mobile devices and enabling encryption, if available, is recommended.

Depending on the Harmony Health texting program that the individual has enrolled in, they may receive marketing messages. Harmony Health is committed to building user trust and confidence by promoting and complying with the use of business practices that help protect the privacy and the security of the customer and their data.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL HARMONY HEALTH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH USE OF THE TEXTING PROGRAM(S), WHETHER OR NOT HARMONY HEALTH HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

If individuals are dissatisfied with the texting program or with these Terms and Conditions, their sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue enrollment in the specific texting program. Individuals who participate in the texting programs offered by Harmony Health do so at their own risk.

Harmony Health does not guarantee the successful delivery of text messages. Messages sent via text may not be delivered if the mobile phone number is not in range of a transmission site, or if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time. Even within a coverage area, factors beyond the control of wireless carriers may interfere with message delivery, including the customer's equipment, terrain, and proximity to buildings, foliage, and weather. Harmony Health will not be liable for losses or damages arising from (a) non-delivery, delayed delivery, or misdirected delivery of a text message; (b) inaccurate or incomplete content in a text message; or (c) use or reliance on the contents of any text message for any purposes.

Messaging and Data rates may be charged by mobile service providers. Content may not be available via all carriers. Participating carriers may include, but are not limited to: Associated Carrier Group (ACG), AT&T Mobility, Boost, ClearSky (RCG), Google Voice, Interop, Open Mobile Puerto Rico, Peerless Network, Sprint Corporation, T-Mobile & MetroPCS, Truphone Limited, US Cellular, Verizon Wireless, and Virgin Mobile. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
